PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor, having the high suppression capacity for the nonspecific adsorption of protein and high extraction capacity of target proteins. SOLUTION: In the biosensor, having a flow channel formed on a substrate and constituted of a detection surface for detecting the interaction of a physiologically active substance with a substance to be tested, and a non-detection surface that does not detect interaction, the substrate is a metal surface or a metal film, and the detection surface and the non-detecting surface are modified by a self-organizing film, having a functional group for bonding a hydroxy group and the physiologically active substance.
