PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament sewing thread improving defects caused by formation of loops or slackness and forming uniform seams while leaving the gloss of filaments and having good high-speed sewability. SOLUTION: The filament sewing thread is composed of a spinning combined filament yarn. Furthermore, the spinning combined filament yarn is obtained by combining a polyester filament yarn A having an intrinsic viscosity (η)<SB>F</SB>within the range of 0.7-0.9 with a polyester filament yarn B having a lower intrinsic viscosity (η)<SB>F</SB>than that of the polyester filament yarn A by 0.2-0.5 and a higher elongation in a spinning step.
