摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving a liquid delivery device which enables a droplet (ink droplet) delivery performance to be maintained at an excellent level for a long time by preventing it that the difference of the displacement amount in the thickness direction of the piezoelectric deformation domain of a piezoelectric actuator of a liquid delivery device equipped with the piezoelectric actuator including a piezoelectric ceramic layer with the magnitude needed for covering a plurality of pressure chambers gradually gets smaller. SOLUTION: By applying an electric field applied at the time of the polarization of the piezoelectric ceramic layer 6 and a drive voltage-V<SB>H1</SB>to the arbitrary piezoelectric deformation domain 8 of the piezoelectric actuator 7, the piezoelectric deformation domain 8 is made to be bent and deformed in the thickness direction, then the volume of the pressure chamber 2 of a droplet discharge port 4 corresponding to the deformed domain is made to be changed.
