Connection units (12, 13) are provided at side surfaces (5-10) of a three-dimensional circuit carrier (4) that is made from plastic. The connecting units are electrically connected with a housing part (3). The main sensitive axis of the acceleration sensor is arranged relative to the housing part. Conducting paths are directly attached to the circuit carrier.
