The prefabricated wall or ceiling unit (1) has a multi-layer structure. One is a load-bearing layer (4) of concrete with an insulation layer (5) of natural fibers with a mineral bond using corrosion-resistant metal as a carrier grid. The outer surfaces are covered with decorative layers. The wall/ceiling is fitted with electrical sockets (7) and anchors (8) for lifting and transport.
