Explosive ammunition, eg a warhead (10) comprises a splitter (30) forming sleeve (12) which contains the explosive (14). The sleeve comprises ring elements (16) placed on top of each other, and an outer skin (18) which holds the ring elements together. The outer skin consists of a fibre laminate material.
