<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of restraining a void phenomenon and excellently restraining color shift. <P>SOLUTION: The linear velocity of a photoreceptor on the most upstream side in a transfer paper conveying direction and the linear velocity of a transfer conveying belt 60 are set to be nearly the same. Thus, the number of times that color shift of ≥100[μm] occurs is reduced in comparison with when the linear velocity ratios of all the photoreceptors to the transfer conveying belt 60 are all set to be the same. As for the photoreceptors positioned on a more downstream side than the photoreceptor on the most upstream side in the moving direction of the transfer paper conveying belt, where the void phenomenon easily occurs, the linear velocity ratios of the photoreceptors to the transfer conveying belt are made to differ. Therefore, shearing force acts between the photoreceptor and toner at each transfer position, so that void is restrained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
