PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable polypeptide which is capable of inducing the production of interferon-gamma in an immunocompetent cell.

SOLUTION: The polypeptide includes a specific amino acid sequence, and induces the production of interferon-gamma in the immunocompetent cell. The the DNA encodes the polypeptide. The the method for producing the polypeptide comprises a process culturing a transformant obtained by transducing a DNA encoding the polypeptide in an appropriate host, and a process collecting the product polypeptide from the culture. The medicament for anti-sensitive disease contains the polypeptide as an active ingredient.
