<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and secure system without mounting a complicated logic circuit on an electronic tag. <P>SOLUTION: In the system provided with the electronic tag 10 and a reader-writer device 20, the reader-writer device 10 is provided with a password generation part 1100 for generating a password by computing an electronic key 131 and a keyword intrinsic to the electronic tag by a prescribed irreversible function, the merchandise information on merchandise to which the electronic tag 20 is to be stuck is encrypted by using a prescribed encryption function with the password as a key, and the encrypted merchandise information and the keyword are written to the electronic tag 20. Also, the reader-writer device 10 reads the encrypted merchandise information and the keyword from the electronic tag 20, makes the password generation part 1100 compute the password by using the keyword, and decrypts the read encrypted merchandise information with the password as a key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
