<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent production of short-circuit point inside the distributor/combiner even when output and input terminals of the distributor and the combiner are opened by removing the power amplifiers when the distributor distributes power to be amplified, the distributed powers are amplified in parallel, and the combiner combines the amplified powers. <P>SOLUTION: When the power amplifier 130 is removed from the distributor, terminals 19, 20 of the distributor are opened and total reflection occurs. The reflected power is entirely absorbed by a termination resistor 11, and a strip line 14 is terminated by the resistor 11. Terminals 32, 33 of the combiner 120 are opened and power sneaked from a strip line 40 is reflected in the terminals 32, 33, but the reflected power is absorbed by a termination resistor 38 and the strip line 40 is terminated by the resistor 38. Even when the power amplifier is removed, the output and input terminals of the distributor and the combiner can be terminated so as to prevent the other terminals of the distributor and the combiner from being opened, resulting in that the high frequency power amplifier can continue its output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
