<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective technique to ensure compatibility between enhancement of rigidity and weight reduction of an occupant restraint belt mounted to a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: In a seat belt device 100 mounted on the vehicle, webbing composing a long shaped seat belt 110 for restricting a vehicle occupant C is woven so that warp and weft made of a synthetic fiber are orthogonally extended. At least one of the warp and weft is the synthetic fiber wherein a second fiber having lower melting point than that of a first fiber intervenes in the first fiber, is composed by using a higher contractible synthetic fiber shrinking with dimensional shrinkage rate of 20 to 60 [%] after being melted in a second fiber under the processing condition of 150 [°C] or more and 180 [sec] or more. The weight of the webbing is 60 [g/m] or less, tensile strength is 25 [kN] or more, and a hexagonal wear resistance retention is 70 [%] or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
