PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fuel injection device for an engine with control of a fuel injection module made highly accurate. SOLUTION: The fuel injection device comprises the fuel injection module for sucking, pressurizing and injecting fuel upon energization of a solenoid 9, various sensors 20 for detecting an operation state of the engine, a micro computer 2 for giving a driving signal to the fuel injection module according to the operation state, an operational amplifier 8 for detecting solenoid current, an injection correction means for correcting driving time of the solenoid based on a detected value of the current, and a discharge completion detecting means for detecting the discharge completion of charged energy of a capacitor 1. A first energization current value of the solenoid 9 is detected immediately after the energy of the capacitor 1 is used, a second energization current value is detected after elapse of a certain time, and the driving time is corrected in a direction of increase when the first and second energization current values indicate a decrease of the energy amount to the solenoid 9.
