PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read out data for a disk with a high rate, and output the data by file units. SOLUTION: A device for reading out data refers to position information of information on a file in reading out data in a data area step by step, specifies position of the information on the file corresponding to the data of the reading position, refers to information on the file at the specified position to calculate an output position of the data to a temporary storage area, outputs the read out data from the data area to the calculated output position, determines whether or not all the files corresponding to the output data are prepared in the storage area, and if it is determined that all files are prepared, the files are output by file units to a backup area.
