PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of strictly limiting usage of content on a local storage which is bound with a disk storing content and utilized. SOLUTION: The structure reproduces a combination of first content stored in a first information recording medium such as a DVD and second content stored in a second information recording medium such as a hard disk. In this structure, a hash value of a certificate stored in the first information recording medium is calculated and the hash value is compared and collated with a hash value registered in a content certificate to be set corresponding to the first content stored in the first information recording medium, and content reproduction is permitted on the condition that both the hash values coincide.
