PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate channel selection of each screen in a receiver having a multiscreen display function. SOLUTION: The multiscreen display device (A) has an antenna 1 for receiving television broadcast, a tuner 3 for executing the channel selection of programs, a separator for separating a video-image information signal from a program information signal, a video-image processor 5 for executing processing of the separated video-image information signal, a multiscreen processor 15 for executing processing for displaying a plurality of the programs by selection with an EPG regarding program video images subjected to video-image processing, and a display unit 17 for displaying a plurality of the programs on the multiple screens. The device is also provided with a storage 15a for storing information regarding the multiscreen processing in association with the multiscreen processor 15. The selection with the EPG regarding the program video images subjected to the video-image processing is executed by a selector 21 for selecting the programs while making display in a program information display unit 11, which executes OSD display of the EPG after receiving output from a program information extractor 7 for extracting separated program information, as a GUI.
