PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone device capable of emitting voice over a wide range so as to allow a user to easily hear the voice while attaining miniaturization. SOLUTION: A main body 2 contains respective components by fitting a front cover 3 and a rear cover 4 to each other. The front cover 3 is provided with a transmission section 5, an operation section 6, a display section 7, and a reception section 8 sequentially from the bottom of the main body 2. The front cover 3 is provided with a main sound hole 85 at a position provided with the speaker 82, and a sub sound hole 86 is provided at a position under the speaker 82.
