<p>Disclosed is a concavo-convex pattern processing system for slates including a transfer unit to transfer a slate to be surface-processed, a high-pressure water injection device having a device body disposed above the transfer unit, and at least one injection nozzle mounted at a side of the device body facing the slate, the injection nozzle being adapted to inject high-pressure water toward the slate, and a drive unit to move the high-pressure water injection device toward or away from the slate, so as to allow a predetermined concavo-convex pattern be processed on a surface of the slate by high-pressure water. As a result, the following advantageous effects can be accomplished. Firstly, there is no bad effect on the natural color and texture of the slate. Secondly, a variety of patterns can be processed according to the configuration of a drive unit employed in the system. Thirdly, the processed slate has no crack and thus, can achieve an improvement in the lifespan and strength thereof. Fourthly, there is no risk of excessive consumption of materials to be processed. Fifthly, it is possible to prevent unwanted bending of the slate during the processing of the concavo-convex pattern. Sixthly, the depth of the concavo- convex pattern can be freely regulated, resulting in an improvement in productivity of slate products.</p> |
