<p>The invention relates to the chemico-pharmaceutical industry and can be used for medical practice in a monotherapeutic mode and for the multimodality treatment of rhinitis of different ethiology. Said invention also relates to a disulphide tetralithium salt and to a method for the production thereof consisting in oxidising a starting compound, embodied in the form of a reduced glutathione (?-L-glutamyl-L-cysteinyl-glutaminyl-glicine), by a hydrogen dioxide in the presence of aqueous ammonia, in releasing a free hexapeptide (bis((?-L-glutamyl)- L-cysteinil-bis-glicine) by acidifying the solution with a glacial acetic acid, in converting the acidified form of free hexapeptide in a tetralithium salt, in filtering the solution in vacuum, in stabilising the hexapeptide disulphide bond by exposing the reaction solution to an ultraviolet radiation and in releasing a final product by a liophylic drying method. The inventive means can be used in the form of a medicinal preparation for preventing and treating rhinits of different ethiology, including vasomotor rhinitis. A pharmacological composition containing a disulphide glutathione tetralithium salt, zinc sulphate, hydrogen dioxide, adrenaline and water for injections, dosage forms based on said medicinal composition, for example nasal drops and spray, and a method for preventing and treating nosological forms of acute and chronic infection and allergic diseases of nasal mucous are also disclosed.</p> |
