Lining device, has two side elements (30), which are arranged pivoted in a guide rail (40) with the cover (20) around an axis of rotation (31). The side elements cover a gap between the cover and the vehicle roof in the opened condition of the cover, with one adjustment device for the adjustment of the side elements. An independent claim is also included for the vehicle roof.
