<p>A separation/recovery method by which a resin and a metal can be easily separated from a large amount of spent shell casings. From cylindrical spent shell casings comprising a resin and a metal, the resin and the metal are separated and recovered by the method. The method comprises the first step of roughly crushing the spent shell casings, the second step of finely crushing the particles obtained by the rough crushing in the first step, and the third step of separating a resin and a metal from the particles obtained by the fine crushing in the second step. The first step is a step in which the cylindrical spent shell casings are roughly crushed into particles having a width not larger than 1/10 the width of the cylindrical spent shell casings before the treatment. The second step is a step in which the particles are finely crushed so that the length after the fine crushing is not larger than 1/10 the length of the cylindrical spent shell casings before the treatment.</p> |
