<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of an apparatus and to assure image quality. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of side walls 56 that a main part frame 55 possesses are comprised of a resin frame 57 and a sheet metal frame 58. A process section 25 and a scanner section 27 among a plurality of modules constituting a laser printer 1 are held positioned by the side wall sheet metal frame 58 which is obtainable of high position accuracy and are supported in this state, and thereby the image quality can be assured. Also, the modules, such as a belt unit 15, a paper feed cassette 7, a discharge device 48, and a transfer roller 19, for which high position accuracy is not requested, are supported in the state of being positioned by a side wall resin frame 57 having high design flexibility such that the respective modules are efficiency arranged and the miniaturization of the laser printer 1 is made possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
