PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform color adjustment based on rational basis by clearly indicating color information of an arbitrary area designated for color adjustment to an operator as a specified coordinate value of a coordinate system for making hue, saturation, and brightness to be a coordinate axis. SOLUTION: A process for storing color information 83, 85 relating to an arbitrary area designated via a pointer within an editing image area, and a process for clearly displaying a mark for specifying a color coordinate responding to the color information onto a position on a hue circle or a hue bar chart prepared for color adjustment are to be executed as a color adjustment technology. A process for storing the color information relating to a designated arbitrary area via the pointer within the editing image area, and a process for clearly displaying the color information as the coordinate value on a color coordinate to be given by phase, saturation, and brightness are also to be executed as the color adjustment technology.
