SOLUTION: The gasification apparatus has a gasification furnace 1 and a pipe line 15. The gasification furnace 1 has a fluidized bed 2 mixed with the catalyst Cy in the inside, forms a gasified gas Gg by thermally cracking a raw material M such as coal and a biomass at the fluidized bed 2, and decomposes the tar formed by the thermal cracking of the raw material M by the contact with the catalyst Cy. The pipe line 15 has a catalyst-packed layer Lcy formed in the inside, allows the gasified gas Gg formed at the gasification furnace 1, and the undecomposed tar to be sent through the catalyst-packed layer Lcy to decompose the undecomposed tar by being brought into contact with the catalyst Cy forming the catalyst-packed layer, and enables the catalyst Cy to be charged from a tip opening 15a into the gasification furnace 1.
