PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure which increases strength at an engagement portion while effectively transmitting to the vehicle body a load applied to the engagement portion of a front door or a rear door at a side collision, and completely prevents the door from opening at the side collision. SOLUTION: This vehicle body structure has: a door 4 opening/closing door opening portions 1, 3 formed in the vehicle B; and a support unit U slidably supporting the door in a vehicle front and rear direction, and also has: a first engagement member 13 provided on the vehicle body side; a second engagement member 12 provided at the door and engageable with the first engagement portion; and a reinforcement member 60 transmitting load applied to the second engagement member to the support unit when the first engagement member and the second engagement member are engaged with each other.
