PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that using nanoparticles that are conventionally known to be capable of destroying bacteria, fungi, viruses, or toxins is not utilized in conjunction with a hydrophobic or hydrophilic filter. SOLUTION: A filtering device incorporating nanoparticles (1) that are known to be capable of destroying bacteria, fungi, viruses, or toxins, is provided. Two or more filters (2) which are fluidly communicating with each other, an encasement (3) having an inlet (4) and an outlet (5) and storing the filters (2), and the nanoparticles containing the nanoparticle pellets (1) that are known to be capable of destroying bacteria, fungi, viruses, or toxins and that are arranged adjacent to and between at least two of the connected filters (2) are included.
