PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure of a steam generator, which enables a comfortable mist bath etc., while increasing steam generation efficiency, which prevents a deterioration in indoor design, and which enables an indoor space, including a floor, to be set in a desired state. SOLUTION: In this steam generator, a heat exchanger, which generates steam by having hot/cold water diffused from a diffusion means, and a blast means are arranged in a case. Characteristically, the steam generator, which is installed in the state of being embedded in a position below an indoor floor surface, spurts the steam, which is generated by the heat exchanger when the blast means operates, into the room from an outlet which is provided on the floor. The floor is formed in such a shape as to have a double structure which comprises an upper floor provided with the outlet, and a lower floor with a waterproof function.
