PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a stable cooling operation in a short time by assisting self-excited vibration of a gas, in regard to a thermoacoustic refrigerating machine wherein pressure vibration is generated on a gas filled in a loop tube by thermoacoustic effect, and cooling processing is performed by utilizing the pressure vibration. SOLUTION: In this thermoacoustic refrigerating machine 10 having the loop tube 11 filled with the gas 14, a vibration generating portion 12 provided with a first heat storage unit 17 between a first high temperature-side heat exchanger 15 and a first low temperature-side heat exchanger 16, and generating vibration on the gas 14, and a refrigerating portion 13 provided with a second heat storage unit 22 between a second high temperature-side heat exchanger 20 and a second low temperature-side heat exchanger 21, and performing cooling by application of the gas 14 vibrated and energized by the vibration generating portion 12, a vibration exciter 25 is mounted for exciting vibration on the gas 14 in the loop tube 11.
