The device has an insertion module (14) connected with a base module (12), where the base module has a radio transmission/reception unit and an interface (30). The insertion module has another interface (32), where the connection takes place using the latter interface. A control unit for the reception unit is not provided in the base module. The insertion module has a control unit (28) to control the reception unit. The interfaces are designed in such a manner control signals are transmitted from the control unit to the reception unit.
