PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable image forming method causing no unevenness image density even if a toner of which the particles have been formed in an aqueous medium is used. SOLUTION: In the image forming method, a toner image is formed by bearing a toner, of which the moisture content becomes 0.5-3.0 mass% by the Karl Fischer's method after standing in an environment at 30°C and 85% RH for 24 h, on a toner carrier having a coating layer of which the contact angle to water becomes 90-120°.
