PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of identifying MN protein and polypeptide which competes with fixed MN protein about the position of MN protein bonding portion and adhesion to vertebrate animal cells, and prevents the formation of adhesion between cells and contact in the cell, and a treating method for suppressing the growth of tumoral vertebrate animal cell before the occurring of a neoplasm abnormally revealing the MN protein. SOLUTION: The MN protein bonding portion is a treating target which can be blocked with an organic or inorganic molecule, preferably an organic molecule, more preferably a protein and a polypeptide peculiarly bonding to the portion. In the treating method, a vector for coding the variable region of an MN-peculiar antibody and a flexible linker polypeptide for separating the region are used. Also in the treating method, the organic or inorganic molecule suppresses the proliferation of pretumoral or tumoral cells of vertebrate animal abnormally revealing the MN protein.
