PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable suitable automatic application of a liquid, e.g. soapy water, to the bead part of tires. SOLUTION: A liquid applicator for tires has a rotary plate 7 capable of rotating coaxially on the axial line S of the tire 70 through the first servomotor 4 and a moving unit 14 movable in the radial direction of the tire 70 in front of the rotary plate 7. The first and second bars 40 and 49 having spraying nozzles 46 and 55, respectively, are arranged in the moving unit 14 so as to be movable forward and backward; the spraying nozzles 46 and 55 are made to oppose bead parts 71 and 72 of the tire 70 through the motions of the moving unit 14 and the first and second bars 40 and 49; and the moving unit 14, together with the rotary plate 7, is rotated to allow soapy water to be applied to the entire periphery of the bead parts 71 and 72.
