PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the service life of a liquid receiver by preventing entering of corrosive liquid or the like into a receiver body, and to maintain heat exchanging performance. SOLUTION: A liquid receiver is constituted of a cylindrically formed receiver body 11, and a stopper 20 which is inserted from a lower opening 11a of the body for blockage of the opening by facing the base end surface 27 to the opening side. In the liquid receiver for vapor-liquid separating a heating medium, an O-ring 41 as a first seal member and a seal packing 43 as a second seal member to be attached on the tip side and base end side of the stopper are inserted from a parallel inner surface 11g on the opening side of the receiver body to a reference inner surface 11d without suffering compression deformation, and a retaining ring 42 for retaining the stopper is arranged in a peripheral groove 50 disposed in a large-diameter inner surface 11h of the receiver body.
