PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control a refrigerant amount control and appropriately control a refrigerant flow rate based on the refrigerant overheat degree on an evaporator outlet side, by providing a gas-liquid separator with a means for detecting a liquid level. SOLUTION: The refrigerating device comprises a liquid level detecting means disposed in the gas-liquid separator and a control means for controlling the opening of a first flow rate control valve until the refrigerant amount of the gas-liquid separator becomes a predetermined amount when the liquid level detecting means detects that the refrigerant amount is not the predetermined amount.
