PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer contents from a storage device of electronic equipment to an external storage device and to protect a content right holder. SOLUTION: The identifier of contents to be stored in the storage device 2a of the electronic equipment 2 is stored in a content table 1a of a semiconductor device 1 mounted in the electronic equipment 2. A transfer determining means 1b determines the permission of transferring the contents according to whether the content table 1a stores the identifier of contents for which a transfer request is made from the storage device 2a to the external storage device 3 outside the electronic equipment 2. A transfer means 2b of the electronic equipment 2 transfers the contents from the storage device 2a to the external storage device 3 on the basis of the determination of the transfer determining means 1b.
