<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video signal display control apparatus which solves problems causing troubles of video display and an overload of a power supply circuit while utilizing a video memory with a small capacity. <P>SOLUTION: A video signal is stored in a video memory in which video signals of at least one frame period can be written, while rewriting the inputted video signal. An average luminance calculation means 2 calculates average luminance from the video signals written in the video memory at a plurality of times of timing in one frame period, and a luminance control means 3 executes the luminance control of a video signal read from the video memory 1 on the basis of the calculated average luminance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
