<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor preventing such a problem (password itself is known, etc.) cause by that information to be displayed on an operation panel is leaked to a person other than an operator even though the status of the device can be grasped by a computer. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor (printer, etc.) is configured as such a device, wherein when panel character string information that is indicating character strings displayed on the LCD 11 and/or the image data of the image displayed on the LCD 11 of an operation panel 11, is requested from the computer, the device returns data/information made by processing image data/panel character string information if the image, being displayed on an LCD 11, is an image of a prescribed kind, and otherwise, returns the character string information as is to the computer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
