PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management technique capable of reducing manual works by a user including setting and management of storage period of a document. SOLUTION: The information processor comprises an acquisition means for acquiring image data of a document; a detection means for analyzing the image data to detect the kind of the document; a storage means for storing a storage period for each kind of documents; a calculation means calculating a storage expiration date of the image data based on the storage period corresponding to the kind of the document detected in the detection means; and a management control means for managing the image data based on the calculated storage expiration date.
