PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing generation of noise and burning due to the leakage of electric charges and improving productivity. SOLUTION: A high-voltage substrate application terminal 22 for applying a high voltage is connected to a GND terminal plate 24 while the high-voltage substrate application terminal 22 contacts and leaves developing unit application terminals 23 of developing units 2 to 5 having toners of respective colors.
