PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a instrument for measuring the viscosity of liquids, constituted so as to enable rapid entering into next measurement work, after the completion of measurement. SOLUTION: The instrument for measuring the viscosity of the liquid is constituted of a measuring container 7, which is partitioned by a pressure transmission film 17 and in which a liquid 9 to be measured is injected; an injection device 11 for injecting the liquid 9 to be measured in the measuring container 7; a flow channel pipe 25 which is connected to the measuring container 7 to communicate therewith and allows the liquid 9 to be measured injected in the measuring container 7 to flow to the outside; a pressure sensor 13 for sensing the pressure, which is applied to the inside of the measuring container 7 at injection of the liquid 9 to be measured by the injection device 11, from the outside via the pressure transmitting film 17 and a control part 53 for calculating the viscosity of the liquid 9 to be measured from the pressure value due to the pressure detector 13. The measuring container 8 is mounted and set to an apparatus body 3, together with the flow channel pipe 25 so as to be freely removed to the outside and rapidly replaced with a new one.
