PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclination adjustment fitting for a backrest of a vehicle seat in at least in the event of an excessive load, transmission of force from a fitting part to a fitting part is not performed via the wedge segments. SOLUTION: A contact cam (34) integrally formed with an eccentric ring (12) is projected into a gap (33) between one end surface (13.3) of wedge segments (13). The contact cam (34) is useful for transferring a load from the metal fitting part (3) to be coupled to the backrest via a contact surface (34.1) to the metal fitting part (2) coupled to the seat part.
