PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clarify the coping of maintenance and management and to quickly cope with an error even when a debit settlement function and a recording medium issuing function are provided together. SOLUTION: An error detection part 360 detects the occurrence of an error in a debit settlement part, a card processing part 340 and a printing part 350. A notifying destination storage part 371 stores the error code of the error detected by the error detection part 360, a notifying destination when each error occurs and a message to be notified in correspondence. A notifying destination decision part 372 refers to the error code outputted from the error detection part 360, reads the notifying destination and the message corresponding to the error code from the notifying destination storage part 371 and decides to notify one or both of a T/C 100 and a debit maintenance center M of the message of the error occurrence.
