PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap and joint for an agriculture and horticulture support each having high attaching strength to the end of an agriculture and horticulture support pipe and excellent watertight properties, and to provide an agriculture and horticulture support having the cap and joint on both the ends. SOLUTION: This cap 1 for the agriculture and horticulture support has an external fitting cylindrical part 1b having an inside 1d corresponding to the outside of the agriculture and horticulture support pipe 3, and an internal fitting cylindrical part 1c having an outside 1g corresponding to the inside of the pipe 3, and at least one groove-like notch 1h parallel to the axis of the internal fitting cylindrical part and formed on the internal fitting cylindrical part 1c. The joint for the agriculture and horticulture support is such that at least one of a plurality of connecting ports to insert and connect the ends of the agriculture and horticulture support pipe has an external fitting cylindrical part, and an internal fitting cylindrical part on which at least one groove-like notch is formed. It is possible to greatly improve attaching strength and watertight properties by attaching and fixing through fitting the end of the pipe 3 into between the external fitting cylindrical part 1b and the internal fitting cylindrical part 1c followed by bonding or thermal welding.
