Hydrodynamic machine has a working space which can be filled by a working fluid. The amount of maximum transferable torque, comprising both a positive torque and a negative torque, can be periodically changed from the primary wheel (2) to the secondary wheel (3) independent of a change in the number of revolutions of the input shaft (4). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Drive train with a drive motor and a working machine; and (2) Method for driving a working machine.
