It is found that ß-catenin is a substrate for PLK1 and the phosphorylation site in ß-catenin is Ser-718. Therefore, by using ß-catenin or a peptide containing Ser-718 in ß-catenin as a substrate, it becomes possible to achieve an evaluation or the like (e.g., screening) of a compound useful as a drug that targets PLK1.
