The present invention relates to a method of identifying an immunological ly effective epitope, the method comprising: a) preparing an oligomer of a p rotein present on the surface of a red blood cell which includes a polymorph ism therein and b) ascertaining whether the oligomer stimulates T-cells and a composition comprising an immunologically effective epitope for the toleri sation of a subject that has been exposed to an antithetical allele.
