<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool capable of simply removing adherent matter such as dust, tar and carbon clogging air vent pipes, blow pipes and instrument piping of gas pipelines used in ironworks or the like, without stopping the flow of liquids of the pipeline systems, and specially, suitable for a work for opening the clogged part of a drainage pipe of a coke oven gas pipeline. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a pipe body, a bar member of which the one end is spirally worked to be a drill shape and which is provided with a handle at the other end and is longer than the pipe body, and a mechanism holding the bar member to be at the pipe axis in the pipe body; and in the device, the pipe body is opened in its one end and the mechanism for holding the bar member is attached to its other end; the mechanism has a gas-tight structure, is able to rotate the bar member around its center axis, and is provided with a structure insertable and drawable in the pipe axis direction of the pipe body; and the device is provided with a blow valve to release a gas from a main pipe at need. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
