<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip resistor capable of achieving circuit crossing electrically separated on a printed circuit board to mount the chip resistor thereon. <P>SOLUTION: A chip resistor 10 comprises a rectangular first substrate 100 made of ceramics and having a face F1 and a face F2, a rectangular second substrate 200 made of ceramics and having a face F3 and a face F4, and a bonding layer 300 held between the face F2 and the face F3 and made of glass or the like. An electrode 102 and an electrode 104 are formed on opposite two sides of the substrate 100, and resistor R1 is formed in the electrode 102 and the electrode 104. Furthermore, an electrode 202 and an electrode 204 are formed on opposite two sides of the substrate 200, and a resistor R2 is formed between the electrode 202 and the electrode 204.
