<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head in which relative positions of head component members can be matched precisely while preventing a channel substrate from cracking or breaking, and to provide a liquid ejector. <P>SOLUTION: A first reference hole 52a and a second reference hole 52b arranged at an interval L1 longer than the overall length L2 of an array 46 of pressure chamber cavities are bored in a channel substrate 40. A third reference hole 52c is bored as an elongated hole having a center on a virtual extension Lv in the direction of first (111) face passing the center of the first reference hole and first through-hole and second through-hole are bored in a nozzle substrate and a sealing plate. A first positioning pin is inserted into the first reference hole and the first through-hole and a second positioning pin is inserted into the second reference hole and the second through-hole, respectively. After channel component members are joined under a state where relative positions are defined, a first case pin is inserted into the first reference hole and the first through-hole and a second case pin is inserted into the third reference hole and the third through-hole thus securing the channel unit to the head case under a state where relative positions are defined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
