<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glove box device which achieves cost reduction and improved operating feeling by reducing the number of component parts and simplifying the structure thereof, and enhances the appearance thereof by reducing a gap between the design surface of an operating handle and a cylinder lock. <P>SOLUTION: According to the structure of the glove box device, a cylinder body 23 of the cylinder lock 22 is fixed to the operating handle 21, and a link member 53 is interposed between one end of a slide member 26 for switching a locking state and an unlocking state of a lock mechanism 25 according to sliding operation, and a rotor 24 of the cylinder lock 22. The link member 53 transmits a rotational force of the rotor 24 rotatable together with the operating handle 21, to the slide member 26, in order to slide the slide member 26 from a lock operating position to an unlock operating position when the rotor 24 is in an unlocking position, whereas the link member interrupts power transmission between the slide member 26 in the lock operating position and the rotor 24 when the rotor 24 is in a locking position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
