<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm management method and a signal transmission apparatus to analyze a trouble more in detail with regard to the trouble occurred in a signal processing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The alarm management method generates an alarm data according to an abnormal state of the signal processing apparatus of a monitoring subject, manages the alarm data, repeatedly collects an operation state information from a plurality of detection points in the signal processing apparatus, judges whether the operation state information shows the abnormal state or not every time when the operation state information is collected, generates the alarm data including an identification information of at least one detection point corresponding to the abnormal state in the case that the abnormal state is shown, and holds the alarm data by overwriting it in a first storage area and holds at least one portion of the alarm data by additionally writing it in a second storage area every time the alarm data is generated.
